Coach Mr. Ronald Lee

-     A seasoned High School teacher with 40 years of teaching experience, now retired. 

He was the founder of the debate club at Western Canada HS.

-     He has served as a director and committee chair on ADSA Sienlok Society.

-     He holds a B.A. Honors Degree in English and an M.Ed. from Athabasca University.

-     He is also the owner of R.C.L. Communications Ltd., a consulting company specializing in training professionals for media presentations.

Coach Mr. David S.

-     A certified teacher and Lead Advisor for the High School Speech Club.

-     Holds a Master's Degree from Stanford University.

-     Achieved an Honors bachelor’s degree from the University of Southern California.

Coach Mr. Trenton S.

-     A European Universities Debating Champion.

-     A member of the 2017 Canadian National Debate Team.

-     Holds a Ph.D. from Oxford Law and is a graduate of Cambridge Law.

Coach Mr. Harold Zh.

-     Graduate of Cellular, Molecular, and Microbial Biology at the University of Calgary.

-     Former Director of Training at the University of Calgary Debate Society.

-     Served as the Southern Alumni Regional Representative on the Alberta Debate and Speech Association Board of Directors.

-     He has been a coach at We Learn Academy for over 5 years, aiding students in building the foundational knowledge necessary for debate.

-     His team secured first place at the University of Calgary Debate Society British Parliamentary Tournament in 2017.

-     Represented Alberta at the Oxford Cup Qualifiers in Toronto in 2019 after placing among the top six teams in Alberta.
